Cookies and Cones is an American-style AWARD WINNING dessert company established in 2018 to bring a new flavour to Essex with our hand made small batch gelato and instagrammable bakery products. We opened our first store in Leigh-on-Sea and since then have opened a number of sites throughout Essex and the South East.
Matt Davis the owner had a vision to revolutionise the UK dessert industry. With the help of his team, he has worked hard to create unique recipes using the best ingredients we can source and keeping ahead of the current trends.
Since starting in 2018 with just two saturday workers, Cookies and Cones now employs over 80 people within the local communities of our stores and HQ.

As our business has grown, we've had an increase in demand to supplying other businesses and with our larger production facility, we're now able to offer that service! We launched our first wholesale catalogue offering our range of bakery products, gelato and sundries to other businesses within the region.

With the relocation of our HQ and production site, we had the opportunity to also include a small grab and go shop onsite where customers can come and enjoy their favourite Cookies and Cones treats and even take a peak into our production room through our 2.4m viewing window.

After months of contractor works, shopfitting and site visits, we've relocated our production site and HQ to a site 3 times the size. This has enabled us to expand on our operations and put in place foundations to continue to grow the business.

We launched our first site within the global fashion retailer PRIMARK! Our grab and go concept opened in Primark Wood Green in partnership with the major retailer with a view to roll out further sites across the Primark estate.

Braintree Village welcomed us with open arms when we launched our 7th store! It may be our smallest store, but it's an absolute cracker!

Chelmsford was always a market we were keen to launch a store in and on the 13th November 2021 this became a reality. Our FIRST City centre store on Bond Street, Chelmsford.

We launched our first ever shopping centre store in Eastgate Shopping Centre, Basildon! We were overwhelmed by the huge support and turnout on the day by our amazing customers.

During Lockdown 3.0 we opened our fourth store in Wickford, Essex. We were taken back by the warm welcome & support received by the community.

With our new production facility we were able to to launch our UK wide delivery service of our freshly baked products.

During unprecedented times we opened our third store in Rayleigh, Essex. This store would be our quickest turnaround from getting the keys to opening our doors…just 8 days!!!

Opened our centralised head office and production facility. This enabled us to have the space to future proof & grow the business.

We brought our first temperature controlled van, which enabled us to launch our local delivery service during the pandemic.
